ALWAYS ON

Mosh was built for constant mobile connectivity. You can flawlessly jump from home, to the train, and then to the office thanks to Mosh. Blink is rock-solid connected all the way. And don't be afraid to put your device to sleep, when you wake it up later, your connections will be intact.

Lag can make or break an experience. Mosh precludes network lag by performing intelligent local echo. You can type as if you were in your local machine.

It feels like magic.

<TheVerge>

In some ways, I prefer my iPad / Blink / Digital Ocean setup to coding on my Mac.
I have tried a number of terminals on iOS and this is really The One.
Connections still come up when I get back to a client project after a weekend off.
Is this magic? I don’t know but it really feels like magic.

BLINK CODE. YOUR NEW SUPERPOWER.

  • A coding experience fitted to your device, that connects to Microsoft Visual Studio Code for web, GitHub Codespaces, GitPod or your own VS Code server.
  • Work on local projects, or seamlessly on remote machines thanks to Blink Files.
  • First class iOS experience, with software and hardware keyboard, and the full edge-to-edge experience.

Blink Code is not affiliated with nor endorsed by Microsoft.

DESKTOP GRADE

Blink was built as the tool we wanted to use all day. We were tired of User Interfaces being on our way, and of connections that couldn’t even last for 5 minutes.

  • Blink puts you in a command line from the start, so you know what to do.
  • Supports Ed25519, ECDSA and RSA keys. It is built on top of libssh and libssh2.
  • Including tunnels (-L), proxycommand and ssh-agent.

...with Unix base tools

Go beyond just remote connections from your local device. Manage files from the command line, check on your network or download files. We just make it better and better on each release.

  • cd, setenv, ls, touch, cp, rm, ln, mv, mkdir, rmdir, df, du, chksum, chflags, chgrp, stat, readlink, compress, uncompress, gzip, gunzip,
  • pwd, env, printenv, date, uname, id, groups, whoami, uptime
  • cat, grep, wc
  • curl (includes http, https, scp, sftp...), scp, sftp
  • tar
  • You can call commands individually. There is redirection (">", "<", "&>" ...).

Emacs or Vim like Pro

Blink embraces Bluetooth-coupled keyboards with gusto. Some like Caps as Esc on Vim, others Cmd as Ctrl on Emacs. Blink champions them all. During your always-on sessions, you are in your zone.

Your Terminal, Your Way

We know how important it is for your long work sessions to have the color theme and font you feel comfortable looking at all day. You can rock your terminal and roll your own themes and fonts beyond our included ones. And yes, we include Pragmata Pro by default!

AIR TERMINALS

We promise, you will end up liking the simplicity of Blink + iOS so much that you will want to take it to the Big Screen.

Create a distractions-free workstation. Connect your iPad Pro to a 4K display and get a full resolution, crystal clear terminal.

Giving a demo on your next presentation? Blink can be displayed on a remote Apple TV too!
